Can you be more specific?

There was an article about the resurgence of the whigs in the rtd today,first i heard of it,was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on them

I'm not impressed. They still want the government to fund things that the government ought not fund. That, and right at the top of the page is a quote from Lincoln. That's a bit of a turn off for me.

If I had more time, I expect that I would compare modern Whigs to the original Whigs.

I havent looked at em too hard myself,but the lincoln quote doesnt bode well in my book either

Oxymoron???

"The Modern Whigs are... common sense, centrist-oriented...."

While I am, as I mentioned, unimpressed, I will allow that I more comfortable with them than I am with the current Democrats, and some Republicans. I still think that I prefer Tea Party Republicans, though.

Yeah. That whole notion of "We support it, but..." doesn't sit well with me.
