Potentially Fatal ‘Knockout’ Game Targeting Strangers May Be Spreading

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – A terrifying new ‘game’ that’s already caused deaths in Syracuse, St. Louis and New Jersey is sweeping the nation, and it preys upon unsuspecting people walking the streets, anywhere.

A recent report from New York-based CBS 2 shed light on the growing trend, displaying unsettling footage of teens participating in this game – which goes by the name ‘Knockout’ – and involves randomly targeting passersby, with the ultimate goal being to knock them out with one punch as they walk by.

One victim shown in the footage is a 46-year-old man from Hoboken, N.J., who was found dead with his neck broken and head lodged between iron fence posts, according to NJ.com.
Video surveillance shows Santiago walking in an alleyway in broad daylight, and just as he’s about to pass a pack of teenagers, one launches the fatal, knockout blow.
And what’s the point?

“For the fun of it,” one teen said in the video.

“They just want to see if you got enough strength to knock somebody out,” said another.
D.C. has not been spared of this violent trend.

One local woman, who was attacked on 14th Street NW in Columbia Heights on Thursday, tells DCist.com she believes to have been a target of this game, as a group of around eight males on bikes came up behind her, with one hitting her in the head. According to the report, police categorized the attack as “simple assault.”

The woman tells the publication she believes others in the area should be on the lookout for similar types of attacks.

I'd say send him down the river forever; but I wonder if that lesson he learned by a good citizen was better than any jail term would provide.

I heard about this on the radio as well. I am sickened by what our youth have/are growing up to. My kids will not participate in such activities or there will be hell to pay.

I can't wait until one of those "KIDS" tries to Knockout the Wrong Guy and he empties a 10 round mag. on the whole group of "Laughing Bastards" ......Then I guess it will be a TRAYVON situation all over again !

Yes....With the first death related to this kind of stupid act..... They need to find one really good person caught on tape and make it a VERY public trial followed by a very public execution.

FB, I used to have some faith. I have lost it all.

Who stands by Holder after all that s)@t? Who lies consistently, and ferverently? Who pulls the race card when he doesnt get his way?

This man is more worthy than any president of impeachments, yes many of them, followed by criminal trials and maybe execution.

The travesty is that the legislature is mostly in bed with him. They just will not impeach. And we have the power to actually do that in the congress.

I can't help but think less conspiracy and more a lack of good parenting and a complete loss of family values in the black community due to the 70%+ single mothers among black American women and the fathers of those bastard children being just as horrible a person (or worse) as their children are becoming...

Because they are not about equal right and the advancement of peace. They are for provoking the public into putting white people on a guilt trip for the advancement of the black / African American race.
