We were crossing over the bridge on Cowan Blvd into Central Park, where Cowan crosses I-95. There was a small group of guys there with US flags and a large Gadsden flag hanging from the overpass. One guy was carrying an AR-15 slung over his shoulder.
I hope that there are enough of us voting tomorrow to give Virginia a "Stay of execution" from the socialist agenda.

One would hope... but we saw how that "hope and change" mess just ruined a perfectly good country.

Aye it didn't go the way I wanted either...but I'm in it for the long haul. We can't surrender just because we lose a skirmish or battle. DC's proximity makes it difficult with all the pork and pandering but we've all got to stay engaged.
The Continental soldiers suffered incredible physical and mental hardship to bring us the freedoms we routinely enjoy today. The least we can do is honor their sacrifice by staying put and taking the fight to the misguided people who think they know what's best for everyone. That will be the easy part of all this.
Dealing with the brainwashed and dependent folks who'd rather surrender their essential freedoms for perceived security? That's going to take a mite longer methinks.
