Terry has raised over $1M in the last 5 days, Ken somewhere around $150 to $200K. If you are wondering why you see 10 ads for Terry and only 1 (or even none) for Ken on TV, then this is the reason.

The polls showing Ken down have taken their toll as the Big GOP money is either gone, or most likely, being pulled from him.

I for one though am not believing the polls. Almost every single poll has blatantly assumed that 8% more self-identified Dems will show up at the polls then republicans. That was true last year, but will not be true this year. Adjust all those polls for a more realistic GOP vs. Dem split and the race is a toss up.

The big money may have given up on him, but we don't have to. There are well over 5000 members here. If each of us donates $15 then we'd contribute almost $90K to the campaign in the closing days.

I'm definitely interested in getting some good participation on this one. Cuccinelli is our only hope. If McAwful is elected, Virginia will be going down the tubes just as quickly as the rest of the country under Obama!

Of course we cannot match multi billionaires, but increasing the ability to advertise and get the word is what we are looking for. As it stands, cooch is close if not leading. Now we have to push as hard as possible to convert as many as possible, and get the vote out.

No, we can't match multi-billionaires or even millionaires, but that doesn't mean we can't pitch in.

I'm part of a group of over 500 people that have a goal of talking to 100,000 voters in between Friday and Tuesday. We'll make our goal, it will make a difference, but it is not a difference you will find in the "polls" taken before election day or the news casts.

This election is about who goes to the polls and actually votes.

It's the bottom of the 9th, bases are loaded, and we have 2 outs. Every dollar counts, every person talked to matters.

Ken has won these races before (he won his Senate race in 2007 by 101 total votes).

I just gave Cooch's campaign a pretty decent chunk of change (by my standards) 2-3 weeks ago, but I'll sign in today or tomorrow and pitch in a modest amount. It's THAT important.

Ok, any big contributors still wanting to give - a Ruger SR9 will do just fine as a protest. I accept paypal and just include the name of the establishment that you want the proceeds to go to.

None of us are industrialists or movers and shakers (I think), so it's safe to say this would be a fairly grass root moneybomb.Definitely not a criticism or insult, maybe I could've worded that reply better.
