I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for 22 ammo. Have not been able to find any what so ever in my area... Hoping that maybe someone on here may have some that I may be able to purchase off them. Looking for 250 - 500 rounds. Would prefer Remington Golden Bullets (36 gr) as that is what my Mossberg 702 seems to eat the best, but beggars can't be choosy. I have a 12 year old grand daughter who is participating in a hunter education course on the 26'th of this month and want to get her out shooting. I have found some online, but at highly inflated prices so hoping someone on here could possibly help out. I live in Highland County, but would be willing to travel to Harrisonburg / Staunton area if could possibly meet up to do the exchange. Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Warning, thunderbolt sucks. There was a recent recall because bullets were falling out of cases.

I am always cautious, I recommend Federal automatch 40 grain target rounds for general practice. Very solid round. Problem: they are on the expensive side.

Look on gunbroker DOT com. I have been fairly successful at finding it for less than .14/round with shipping. You just have to be patient. To me, well worth the peace of mind.

Also, along with ammo-can, you can check gunbot DOT net. Great site to find ammo at a number of places.

vaguntrader.com has a ton of 22lr. you might find somebody in your area.
