Formal Apology

After traversing 95 NORTH (yes, I said it) to visit some friends of mine in FREDRICKSBURG, we went out to Gander Mountain to walk about the place, and out for lunch.
I saw quite a few folks in Camo, and in big 4x4's, and I finally talked to someone in Gander who said "Oh! We're ALWAYS lumped into NoVa, but you get 10 minutes either said of 95? you're in the COUNTRY!"
Which he was correct because my friends live about 15 minutes off 95, and it's RURAL!
So I formally apologize to those in Fredricksburg for lumping you in with the scum sucking blue-bellied, transplant/carpetbaggers, and will move my "THEY NEED TO CUT IT OFF..." line to STAFFORD...
And I did enjoy Pancho Villa Mexican today with some of the spicest Mini Chili Rellanos I have eaten. They were FANTASTIC!
Oh! And side note apologizes to those in King George County, I know ya'll get lumped in as well, I have visited folks there as well, and think maybe a reverse "Tear drop" might be the way to go with the cutoff line.

Nah man, it's always good to have a little buffer zone, especially if you know friendlies are in that area on their side. Keep the line at Fredericksburg.

I live inside the beltway, but I'm holding the front here! Could use some reinforcements though.

I was there last night too. I love the store, but its a two hour (104 mile) round trip for me. But if you are looking for anything camo or hunting related and they don't stock it, you likely aren't finding it in a store.
And yea, an up-side down tear drop sounds about right.

Forget binoculars, he'll need a telescope to find another conservative. LOL

Not true... I have one across the street. Weird guy, talks to nobody, washes his cars every 2 days. I know he is conservative from the Romney yard sign.
Oops... now I'm worried, how is people looking at me?

King George has some of the finest deer, and blue crab I have eaten in my life. Orange County is rural as I can see...
So let us ponder, how can we invite our Conservative/progun brethren from Maryland and up North to plant themselves firmly into NoVa, and take Arlington, Alexandria, and Fairfax BACK from the pantywaist pretentious lot that currently resides there?

Most of Orange is fairly rural. Lake of the Woods and the area near the new Walmart are getting thicker with people and townhomes.

Lump F'burg in the blue. I just got out of there and can say without a doubt that's its def a blue place. Most of that camo is just for looks and the 4x4s never see dirt. It's just an image some folks like to project. You do have some "real" people there, but not enough to tip the scales in the red. I personally despise having to go to work on the weekends there.

I went to a neighborhood grill out this weekend. One of the kids' friends dropped by to lament having to take a hunter safety class that his dad suggested he take. It was interesting to see the reactions.
It's pretty easy to spot the more libertarian and right wing folks here in Ashburn where I live. Yeah, it's super DNC-leaning, but there's more of us than I usually think. Of course, I also mostly stay out of Fairfax and Arlington and usually head west, so maybe my view is skewed.
And Reverendel, my Michigan-raised wife has adapted pretty quickly since moving here last May. Despises the noVA stereotype (do NOT call her a NoVA Wife!), would rather hunt than shop, and has become far more libertarian than even she thought she would ever be.

So Mindflayers, she's a "Come-Here", which we love, appreciate, and welcome!
You now Scrubber? That's a good point. I saw camo, and trucks, and naturally thought they were "my kind", then I read a post about a BIG TRUCK with a GLOCK STICKER on it with two folks getting into it from A DNC CAMPAIGN OFFICE?!?!!?
(sigh) I'll stay with the teardrop cut off though... I love Orange County VA... it's beautiful.

I placed the line at the Occoquan river, some years ago I moved it to the Rapp.
Seems "Old Town" anything is a progressive enclave though.

The City of Fredericksburg is definitely a libtard haven. I've never seen so many obummer bumper stickers per block (still) -- seems even thicker than NoVA. Move out to Spotsy, Orange, or King Geoge and you start finding America again.

No way. The number of hope and change stickers in the NOVA area make me want to go kamikaze every time I get behind the wheel.
I am in Prince Willam, which is likely lumped into the NOVA area but I feel like there are a lot more like minded folks down here than up in Fairfax, Alexandria, and Arlington.

I'm in Kang Gawge. Wish I had a good place local to shoot past 100 yards. I have to drive an hour south.
