I just got done reading that before getting on VGOF and had the same thought.

I saw it on the main page of usatoday.com this morning. Sad really. Chicago should do something about their lax gun laws.

Chicago should also do something about its "3-year-old-not-in-bed-at-10pm-and-instead-out-in-a-crappy-neighborhood" law.

There's no media coverage because this is an everyday event in the Windy City. We are talking about a city that has Strict Control laws that Law abiding citizians comply with while the gangs run rabib in the city.

Now that they have the right to carry concealed, maybe this kind of BS will start to go away!

There will be plenty of coverage, they're saying at least one of the shooters had an "assault weapon".

A local station covered it briefly here. Wonder what the networks will have... if anything.

I would expect to hear breathless ramblings about AR15 shotguns and high-capacity assault clips, or something.

Maybe the President can take a break from golf long enough to hold a press conference.

The police superintendent makes a big deal about the guns, but not about the gang-related violence. Why? PC?

Thugmamas just might vote, that's why.

They need to improve their literacy rate. Seems like a lot of those guys can't read the gun laws or surely the laws would reduce crime.
