I stopped in Dick's in Colonial Heights to see if any .22LR was on the shelves...Nothing but shot shells , not even no .22 Mag. We shot a lot this weekend and just wanted to "Stock up " a little. The salesman had just brought out 2 - 10/22 Camo Take Down and handed me one , and since I didn't have one and since I haven't bought a Gun this month , I had to bring it home with me ! I'm just a sucker for the Stainless Steel Model.

The price on the shelf was $399.....I had a $40 Rewards Card ( Surprised they let me use it for a Firearms Purchase) and also applied for a Dick's Credit Card ...Final cost was $328.84 . Gotta take advantage of everything these day's !

We took our two Take Downs out shooting today . They both performed great , the more we shoot them the better and smoother they perform. We shot a box of 225 rd. Remington and a 555 rd. box of Federal. Not one misfire and only 2 jams all day. I have to say they shoot as good as my Regular 10/22 and we do like the "Take Down " feature and carrying bags. :ar:
