Hattfields cleaned and tested it for a fair price.
Shot 15 rounds last night. Very smooth operation. My only concern now is the finish.

It needs to be protected, permanently. I dont think the rust-rid or whatever is gonna last a lifetime.
You guys think it needs bluing or something else?

I don't know anything about that pistol, but it sure looks fun to shoot!

Those 1903 are so cool, People talk about slim carry guns, I don't think there has ever been as slim of a carry gun las the 1903! I don't think I'd reblue it(hard to teel from the photo), but if you do it right or have it done right. Don't try to cold blue it or something.

When I was a youngster in the 1940's I had a cap pistol that was a duplicate of the 1903. That led to a life long passion for guns. And I still have a soft spot for 1903's. I'd leave it just as is and enjoy it.
