My rifle liked both rounds...

I shot this 4 shot group with the PMC after I got the new Iron Sights adjusted right...

25 yards IRON SIGHTS in the Prone Position on a 6" shoot and see target:

I like the price of the PMC $0.49 / rd if you buy 1000

compaired to the Independence at $0.55 / rd if you buy 1000

I know this is a fight that people get into alot... But is there any significant difference between .223 vs 5.56 that would justify the extra expense???

.223 has a different C.U.P. (Cubic Unit Pressure) than 5.56.

5.56 is hotter with higher C.U.P.'s, and can potentially damage a .223 gun.

My Windham Weaponry MPC is chambered to handle both rounds according to the manufacturer...

Ww Src, Minis, etc are 5.56 chambered so they'll also handle 223 fine. Keep in mind, there are several different chamberings available (as mentioned in the LG article).
