Well, Newt's talking to them died-in-the-wool, hide-bound republicans; not me. I'm a conservative independent with strong libertarian sympathies.
And, believe it or not, I'm not anti-Obama.
No Siree; not me.
I'm anti-statist.
I'm anti-socialist.
I'm therefore even more anti-communist.
I'm anti-bureaucrat.
I'm anti-deficit-expansion.
I'm anti-Keynesian.
I'm anti-big government.
I'm anti-income redistribution.
I'm anti-government by executive edict.
In short, I'm anti- everything President Obama has done, tried to do, or wants to do.
But I certainly don't want to give the impression I'm anti-Obama; I might get accused of racism or something. Why, I ain't got a thing against the sneaking, lying, thieving, low-down, back-biting,' communist S.O.B.. Perish the thought. We just have an honest difference of opinion. He thinks we ought to wreck this country, and I don't.

Gingrich is absolutely, 100%, correct. I was listening to Andrew Wilkow today and he had Mark Levin on to talk about Levin's new book (The Liberty Amendments). Levin said that the time for drawing lines in the sand is over. It's time to grab the flag, cross the line, and run with it. No more sitting around crying about how we can't get anything done. The Progressives have been shoving us back since Calvin Coolidge was president, since 1921! It's time for US to shove back!

I find your description the same way I describe my fear of falling.
I am not afraid of heights, I can go up high just fine. I am afraid of falling from heights and going splat. So so long as I am up high and don't think about falling from them then I am fine.
I don't hate Obama, I just greatly dislike everything he has done, and everything he seems to stand for.
Semantics they can be a female dog.

Correct on all above statements.
Unfortunately, due to RINO's, and "Compromise", we've already lost.
ENJOY COMRADES! AMERIKA! LAND OF THE BLAH!

Obama is a mere symptom of a much more serious underlying disease; even if he were to fall off the face of the Earth today nothing would change after.
Or to put it another way, you can take aspirin to get rid of the fever, but the abscess remains just the same, and only grows deeper and more pustulent over time.

True, but kinda gross as I'm eating the yogurt in my lunch. You gotta warn me before you post stuff like that!

Well stated. Let me explain another way if I may, Kreutz: BHO is merely the tip of the political "iceberg." There is a much larger, underlying problem than our so-called Commander-in-Chief. BHO is just a sock puppet, really, born and bred to be nothing more than a tool. The left, as a whole, is an army working against my belief system.
The left has had an agenda for years, just as they accuse the right of having. And in truth, both sides do have their own goals for our great nation. That's why I've switched to Independent, as I can't stand the left, and I don't like RINOs or much of the "Republican establishment." I guess now I'm a hybrid libertarian/constitutionalist/tea party follower.

+1! This is what Levin is getting at.

When 96% of one community supports him.
And 50+% of the American public votes for him...
It just shows what a "dinosaur" I am in believing in Limited Government, a Free Market, and Personal Responsibility.
(sigh) Lemme tell ya' about the Old days kid! (dust pops out of his mouth.)
