Went out to get the paper and got a little surprise. Felt pretty good when I left the house at 8:00 after a hot shower, though. By then it was 49. The "old Folks" say this kind of stuff is a harbinger of an early winter, according to SWMBO.

I'm built for "Mountain temps", not "Beaches".

Yeah been a pretty mild summer, in my estimation.

Low peak sunspots this cycle, and cooler summer temps. Hmmm...

I just hope that we don't get another winter of 5' deep snow and ice.

Almost time to start counting the morning fogs in August. According to the "old folks" hereabouts, that's how many big snows we'll get this winter. Then again there's wooly worm rings........

Several months ago I channel surfed and found Suspicious0bservers on Youtube. Daily 5 or less minute reports on weather and other Earth events. Covers Solar weather as the main focus. He gathers real information from NASA, NOAA, and other places. Great video clips of Sun shots. He is part of the growing science based opinion that the Sun has more power over our weather and earthquakes then other factors.

Can't someone at least give me a half-hearted attempt for global warming?
Everyone knows that a global rise in temperatures leads to cooling, or something.
