Hey All,
My family and I just moved to Northern Virginia (spent last 5 years stationed in Germany). We're looking forward to enjoying life back in the good ole USA! My wife and I were sport shooters in Germany (where gun ownership is strictly restricted). So we're also definitely looking forward to what Virginia has to offer in terms of gun ownership.

Virginia is awesome!! I just completed the transfer of my new PSA AR-15 today. I can't believe in being able to take home a firearm right after the transfer process. Definitely beats the waiting period in California (where I'm originally from) or that in Germany (usually from 30 days or more after I submit all the paperwork).
On top of that, my CHP arrived this weekend (I applied 18 July). And for icing on the cake...my household goods arrived from Germany (also this weekend) and all my firearms got here intact!
Now all I need is to find ammo and a good place to shoot!

We have lots of indoor ranges close by, and some outdoor somewhat close by. In NoVA, Blue Ridge, Silver Eagle Group, NRA Range, SharpShooters are some common indoor ranges.
