Moving from Fairfax Country to Loudoun County

We will be closing on our new house in early August. I have done a search and have been getting conflicting information.
My questions are:
Do I need to get a new CHP with the updated address or can I just wait until renewal?
If I decide to get one with the updated home address, do I just go to the Loudoun Cty courthouse, present my permit, show ID with new address, and get a new one?

Thanks and sorry if this has been asked a zillion times.

From http://vagunforum.net/carrying/conceale ... s-t16.html (Virginia CHP Info link in the upper left)
Change of Address

The clerk of a circuit court that issued a valid concealed handgun permit shall, upon presentation of the valid permit and proof of a new address of residence by the permit holder, issue a replacement permit specifying the permit holder's new address. The total amount assessed for processing a replacement permit due to a change of address shall not exceed $10, with such fees to be paid in one sum to the person who accepts the information for the replacement permit.

Thanks ShotgunBlast. So to clarify, I will need to go to Fairfax and they will issue me a new CHP with my new Loudoun address?

That is correct. Bring your CHP and proof of a new address along with $10 to the Fairfax court clerk.

Thank you for clarifying. That was where my confusion lied.

so how does Loudon Co. get notified of this permit or does it not matter until renewal?
