Subtlety is not one of CNN's better points.
The past 12 months have been bad for gun violence, but good for Smith & Wesson.

They lost and will lose again.
They can't give it up until they are swept out of office in the next cycle.

Bad year for gun crime? Yeah, latest figures, reported by CNN, down 17% in last five years...

You know what? F'ck'em. Sorry for being blunt, but I hate:
-Antigunners (people, corporations, groups, etc.,etc.,)
-Anti Gun politicians
-Bullies with badges/guv'mit credentials
-the Media
-the heads of any political parties.
I love:
-Fellow Gun owners
-Rednecks (I repeat myself)
-"Come-Heres" who take to the culture well (again, I repeat myself)
-LEO's with good sense, and a sense of humor
-Pro gun-counties/states/corporations.

Reverenddel, I realized something the other day - I'm not a Come-Here. I'm a military brat, and I've lived here in VA most my life. I'm a Virginian.
Of course, I tell my wife that, and she laughed, "Uh, you didn't know you were a Southerner?"

That's part of what is wrong with the country today.
The "news" resources should just print, speak, show - the facts. Not interpret them for everyone. Not pick and choose from the available information/facts/evidence and only report on the parts that sway the story their way. The so called "news" services these days are some of the biggest lobbying organizations out there. They don't report news. They attempt to sway public opinion (and make money of course).
I watch Channel 12 for one reason-the weather. Quite often they don't even get that right. I don't watch the national news shows at all. I occasionally watch FOX for a few minutes but even they say/do some down right stupid things.
