It's why shooters suffer with depression after the death of loved ones/Dogs in silence. Because if there is even an INKLING we're sad... we're branded "crazy", and our property taken.

It is flat out BULLSH"T! Because is a person is seeking counseling for a drug/alcohol problem, there DRIVER'S LICENSE is NOT confiscated because you may "...drive under the influence..."

Horrible actions on the part of our government. Vote these bastards out! And avoid seeing mental health professionals (unfortunately, for those who may have issues to deal with).

Welcome to the new reality. Uncle Sam will demand that you get his 'free' health care, then use psychiatrists to categorize you as a 'risk'. So basically, anyone who can afford to will be seeking out their own medical care from outside the system.

It might be time to bring back the traveling doctor in his (or her) covered wagon. Can't wait for all the snake oil based patent medicines to return.

Wow. What a heart-rending article. Chicago will become the norm for the US if we don't keep voting. Thank you for the link to the article. I am wondering if I should install security cameras with sound at my front door in case something like this happens to me, or if another Boston situation occurs. Do you guys think the police would act differently if they knew they were being recorded by a security camera?

How long till a new mom has the baby blues (totally normal and different from PPD) for a week or two. At a post partum appointment mentions that yes for the first week or so she cried several times and the next day the gestapo is at her door. GRRRRR!

I experienced baby blues with my first son. Could not have been happier, but still hear a sappy song, burst into tears. Look at his cute little face....burst into tears......Be alone in my apt with my little son...burst into tears. Husband came home....burst into tears........ Nurse the baby.....burst into tears......I think I spent the first two weeks of his little life crying for joy. It is simply hormonal but I think all of us were glad to have that roller coaster end.

I have been ever so glad that I did not experience that with my other children.
