If you are eligible to vote in the Leesburg Town Council Elections, here is what your Vice Mayor, David Butler, posted to Facebook last night:

" Again, pro-NRA is pro-criminal. Anti-background checks is pro-criminal. Bottom line is the NRA and gun freaks DO NOT care about criminals or law and order. They only care about their tortured, fantasy definition of the second amendment and their big guns which make them feel all manly. Makes me sick, frankly."

I looked this guy up. Transplanted NY Yankee. Hard to believe such a tool is permitted to breathe our Virginia air, much less elected mayor of a town. The very thought leaves a taste in my mouth that makes me want to brush my teeth.
