Fast food frustration puts officer in hot water (draws gun on customer)


Scott Biumi, a sergeant with the DeKalb County police department, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Frustration over the line at a fast food restaurant in Forsyth County has landed a DeKalb County police officer in hot water.
Scott Biumi, 48, a Detective Sergeant for the DeKalb County Police Department, apparently became frustrated while waiting in line at the McDonald's on Old Atlanta Road in Cumming on April 9th, and exchanged words with a driver in front of him.

How stupid. All he had to do was rear end him, claim the driver backed into him in an aggressive fashion and then unload 30 rounds into the guy.

What do they teach these people nowadays?

I think I know what happened....

I wonder how many times that detective pulled that stunt and got away with it?

The thing is, people likely voluntarily answered their doors or let them in.

I don't know what was done if people refused to answer the door, allow entry, or weren't home.

he could have been hiding anywhere, maybe holding a homeowner at gunpoint and you don't think this was appropriate? sometimes common sense dictates that you make the decision to actually help.

Well, "help" may qualify for the disarmed populace of MA, but here in VA... If I know I have secured my home, and am armed to prevent the intrusion of a single madman, no, they will need a warrant if I choose not to let them in. Exigent circumstances and public safety doesn't give carte blanche to search every home.

When they came back with the warrant they'd destroy your home out of spite and shoot the dog just for kicks.
