Easter gun porn

We went to Easter Sunday church service and then had a great lunch.
Then the Easter Bunny got me a 12 gauge shot gun. Yay!
Its a Mossberg 88 Maverick. We went to Wallie World and got one. Can't wait to hit the range.
Unfortunately they did not have any ammo left. I will get some at the range.

Jealous. All the Easter Bunny brought me was a miniature chocolate version of himself of which I am, at this very moment, eating the ears. But it is Russell Stover.

Congrats....I have the same one. Swapped the barrel out for a 18.5 barrel and a pistol grip.

Got my first shotgun on Easter as well. Went a couple weeks ago to my first skeet shoot and had a blast. he sold me his pump at a "friend" rate and I look forward to stopping the infestation of clays! Please, donate your lead and help stop this...

Yeah I am looking at swaping out the barrel. It seems like it is easy as just removing this one and then putting the new one in. I may be wrong but that is what it seems like.
I also wanna get a sling for it, however, it looks like I have to get a special ring pin to attach it. I guess that ring pin thing replaces the original screw/bolt that you attach the barrel with.
And yeah husband and I were talking about going to Bull run for some clay bird hunting.

Nice! Now we need a pic of TacMom being all badass with the new toy!
The universal sling attachment at Wallyworld will not work with the Maverick. Looks like the pieces expect a pre-drilled hole in the existing cap that isn't there. I'll look up the one I got and let you know.
