Sending that email unedited to our Senators is pointless since they're the "Far Left" it mentions. I'm no writer, but I edited mine a fair bit:

Harry Reid's anti-gun bill (S. 649) is wrong for Virginia.

The Veterans Gun Ban is bad enough, but the inclusion of the original Schumer version of the Universal Registry Bill is intolerable.

I realize that you face significant pressure from your own party and groups like MAIG, but I hope you'll find the clarity and courage to resist and to remember that you represent Virginia. Not Northern Virginia or Richmond, but the entire state of Virginia.

Please oppose the motion to proceed and cloture on the motion to proceed, and let me know of your position.

Rest assured that Gun Owners of America - and every other pro-gun group in the country - will certainly score this vote as the pivotal gun control vote of the 113th Congress.

What good does it do? We're outnumbered by the Carpetbaggers in NoVa, and Tidewater, and out in Western Henrico at this point.

I'm not saying give up, but my Commonwealth isn't the same anymore. And not for the BETTER!

it would help if the Republican party could actually field a newer,fresher candidate instead of rehashing Allen over and over....

That' s their problem ,they use the Good Ol boy method and whoever has seniority at the time gets run.. They rarely give a youngster a chance...Time to move on and change that behavior
