One of the limousines in Barack Obama’s fleet has broken after reports that it was mistakenly filled with diesel.

Another limo is on its way from Jordan, according to Ma’an News agency, citing Israel’s Channel 10, to replace one that was filled with diesel instead of gasoline.

Maybe they're too stupid/incompetent toeffectively and consistently prosecute their malicious intent. I guess it could be worse.

I blame public education for this.

I think God has a sense of humor......put in the wrong fuel into a car it runs badly....the same can be said of friendships and the economy. Good symbolism there! That it happened in Israel makes it all the more funny.

I'm not Jewish, but I understand that everything that grows from the ground is kosher. So all sugar is kosher unless it comes into contact with other ingredients or equipment used in non-kosher products.

That brings me to a bigger question: Was the diesel fuel kosher? It came from dead dinosaurs, which were reptiles (or near enough to it). So, if diesel fuel isn't kosher, what the hell do the Isrealis burn in those tanks?

Kosher biodiesel, of course

What I've been hearing now is that it was accidently filed with unleaded, or petrol over there.

It would make more sense that the beast is diesel since it's built on a truck frame and weighs in at nearly 6000lbs if not more with all the armor.

I'm sure a diesel would act like a hand grenade with gasoline in it too lol

That's the kind of mistake I'd expect from some young kid who's dad let him borrow the truck not from a limo driver for the president. But I'm his buddies are giving him an earfull already! The pumps are probably different colors over there.

Pumps are different colors here, too.

After spending a solid month out driving big rigs, I tried to put diesel in my car, too... try to park my car in truck parking, all that jazz.

Limo driver is probably a trucker, lol.

This would make more sense. In America, the diesel nozzle is not only a different color, it's a different size too - slightly larger, so it doesn't fit. DAMHIKT.

Theres an old joke about kosher gasoline (ethanol removed) for passover. Apparently some really frum types still fall for it.

Kashrut (kosher) only applies to edible things.

I couldnt figure out why he had to have brand new cars made for himself in the first place. Good looking pimp mobiles though

Bad thing is you know thats a strong possibility.

It goes without saying, but don't believe everything you read in the Press. Truth is, the car simply broke down on the way to the airport to pick up the President -- incorrect fuel being put into the vehicle was NOT the source of the problem. Nor did they have to "fly in" a replacement from outside of country. They always have back-ups on-hand for instances such as these.

Oh, and the Beasts (there are a large number of them in total) run on unleaded fuel -- not diesel.

Still.....the venue where it broke down is amusing.
