Want to buy a used low miles vehicle. Carmax was a disaster today. Hoping someone here may be able to guide me in the direction of a friend or associate in the car business.

the only thing that I can offer, here, is my own experience.

I, personally, have come out on the losing end when dealing with car dealers. I have always gotten a far better value when buying a used car from the person who drove it regularly.

Of course, if you are looking buy a car brand new, I reckon that you'll be stuck with a dealer.
