Anyone have any knowledge re turkey just across the WV border in the Wardensville WMA, or in the GW forest south of Wardensville, near Trout Run or Lost River? I'd like to take my son out and go after a spring turkey, and we have a little property in the area but probably not enough to hunt, and I've heard turkey only sporadically on our land.
Suggestions appreciated.
