a while back I mis-bid on a 4 pack of pmags for $45. I bought 45 sets of 3. Vendor had set a limit of 3/order, I was thinking I was going to be able to solve the pmag shortage for a few VGOF members.... alas they wouldn't honor the order, but did send me 3.

Well, it does include a PMAG

I doubt it's a typeo. I bet they are just seeing if they can get that much for it.

Of a different product, I order medium and large flat-rate boxes from the USPS. I make and sell stabilizers for small tractors, and use the boxes to ship. I THOUGHT I had ordered (3) boxes of each size, which is 25 per box; I accidently ordered 25 boxes of 25 boxes, of each size. I came home, and there was a huge pallet of boxes on the front porch! The USPS provides them for free, and they never questioned why I needed so many boxes. I contacted them, and they told me to just take them to the local post office- they could use them there. No harm, no foul.

Is it a NFA registered machine gun?

That bidder had previously bumped the bids from 110 to 800. I think that he's a company plant.
