What I have seen..when someone makes money from selling parts, they believe everyone needs those parts.

A Glock is not a 1911. A 1911 is not a Glock. If you get use to shooting one, you will not shoot the other as well (and so that covers some of the mods).

The sights are probably the exception. I have Glocks with standard sights. They are ok. I shoot better with 3 dots.

It is not a slide lock on a Glock. It is slide release.

Cleaning and lubing. As far as lubing, a little dab will do you. This means you will not need to clean as often, but if you shoot enough, you will need to clean the gun.

I have a G26, G19, G17, G21s. If I had to just have one it would be a G19. I have a couple people who are looking to learn how to shoot. Once they can buy ammo, I will take them out and odds are they will end up with a G19.

Yep, Larry is clearly pushing his parts. But in his defense, he came up with these parts because Glock's extended mag release and slide stop lever were not to his liking.

Actually, Glock calls it a slide stop lever. However, I use it as a slide release when reloading from slide lock.

Incorrect. Its a slide stop lever (or slide lock lever) and should not be used as a slide release (for mechanical and tactical reasons)

Plenty of room for debate here. I do acknowledge that Glock did not originally intend for it to be used as a slide release. But, then Glock never intended to have drop-free magazines either. By the time Glock was selling the Model 34, they realized there was a demand for a slide stop lever that could be more easily used to also release the slide. The Glock 34 and 35 come standard with an extended slide stop lever to facilitate being also used as a slide release.

From a tactical perspective, there is no reason not to use the slide stop lever for a reload if that is how you have trained and practiced. I like Frank Proctor's pitch on this video (at 1:16):
