wow i bought a couple of those about a month ago for about $20 each. now if i could only find something to fill them with....

I've seen other suppliers advertising 30 Rd. Mags. for $50-$100 . They are out of stock or back ordered and are not available at this time. Before all this mess I bought about 25 for $17 - $21 . Monday I sold 2 Shot Guns to a guy and he didn't have enough CASH ....I will not take Checks , I took 6 Micro Tech Mags. ( I valued them at $200 ) Just to make the deal happen. I guess some people will pay these inflated prices.

(blinks) I could friggin' retire on mag prices that high.

I went to the SGK show in VB recently, and they were selling 30-rd AR mags for $48 each. I bought the same mags at a show in December for $11 each. I also saw WASR AKs that were recently selling for under $400 now going for around $1000. The really bad thing is that now my wife is trying to get me to sell my guns. She has little sparkly $$$ in her eyes.

Or use the excuse, "Sell NOW?!?! The prices will ONLY get HIGHER!"

Why isn't this in the price gouger thread?

This morning I lucked out and was able to buy several cases of 9mm and .22 LR ammo at great prices. On the way home I stopped at the gas station and this drop dead gorgeous blond was filling up her car at the next pump.

She looked at the ammo in the back of my car and said in a very sexy voice,

"I'm a big believer in barter, big boy. Would you be interested in a
trade of sex for ammo?"

I thought it over for a few seconds and responded......"Well, just
what kind of ammo have you got to trade?"

I guess it's not because as I said it's a bit much for my taste, however, it may not be much for the fellow who's desperate, fell on his head or has more money then sense... but that's just my take on it.
