The Wal-mart in Kingstowne had about 100 boxes of Federal .40 today around 5 PM. $13.97 / 50. I didnt get a close look at what kind but it was the black box with red label. Rest of the HG shelves were bare.

So Hate Walmart...and SO lOVE their prices...esp on ammo

Darn, I have plenty of .40. But I just hate to let good deals get away. Do they still have the 6 box limit?

Wal-mart in Central Park, F'burg has 4 or 5 boxes of WWB/100 .40 cal ($29.97/box)and about 8 boxes of Federal/50 .40 cal ($12.97/box). They still have the 6 box limit, but I bought 10 boxes of the Federal a couple of nights ago with no problems.

My wife just checked less than 1 minute ago & she says it's all gone.

That was pretty quick. I did a count while standing there and saw about 100 boxes - of course that was about 14 hours before you checked. While I was there a young woman rushed in, peered at it across the counter and made a phone call. I only caught part of the call - "yes its .40 caliber." She walked out with 3 boxes. So the word must have already been out before I got there.

Yeah, it goes quick.
