Wal-mart in Colonial heights had some .40 S&W WWB.

Town Police has just about everything still, even saw some 5.56 I believe(didn't double check). But not much, and limit 2 per customer. I went yesterday and got 1 of 3 boxes of 9mm left.

Walmart in Mechanicsville is EMPTY

Wal-mart in Chester has some 40 SW Federal Hydrashoks, but only 4 boxes. Dunno if they're still there.

Not cheapest for reloads, but ok.

SSG tactical in Fredericksburg still has a decent amount of new and used 30rd mags. New $25, used $22.

Laxammo.com has a lot more calibers in stock, shipping is a little expensive, but so is gas.

Went to Wal-mart in Greenbrier (Chesapeake) yesterday -- they are wiped out of nearly everything. The only .22 ammo they had was Short and Shotshell. Bass Pro was sold out of all .22 ammo when I went there a couple weeks ago. This is getting ridiculous!

Lynnhaven and Red Mill Virginia Beach locations are also routinely picked pretty clean.

Thanks for the heads up just placed an order with them also. Have to give them a call in the morning to make sure they have what I need in stock. Not sure if their web page shows real time inventory.

which .22 did you get from CTD? have you shot it? did you like it? seems pricy on there $16-$23/50 round box.

My 45 arrived next day. 9mm didn't come in, so must be on backorder.

I called them this morning and they don't have any 9mm, and they said they haven't had any for a while now. Go figure....

I called them also this morning to see if my order was being processed and was told my order of 5.56 would be on backorder. The rep was honest and said she did not have an ETA, but they get ammo deliveries twice a week. Orders will be filled as they get stock in. I decided to let my order of 400rds.of 5.56 because they are charging realistic prices. If I find a deal or better deal elsewhere then I will make a decision to cancel at that time.

Agreed. Their prices are nostalgic of a better time.

Just ordered a ton of .40 and 9mm.

Prices for 9mm were almost $100 less per 500 rounds than last show.

I don't think our local Walmarts are restocking anything anymore. I go each morning and each evening at 8am and say 4pm for each of the last 3 days at the same 3 walmarts near me since I am trying to get some 9mm and 22 mag and perhaps 45 as well. Nothing on the stocking shelves have changed at all except they added 17hmr and some 45 Colt which they have had piles of this crap sitting on the shelves for months now since nobody buys that stuff.

The walmart folks say while they are supposed to stock the shelves after 7am, they are also being directed to stock the shelves at different times during the day eventhough the shipments come in each evening because there are several folks in my area who were coming in each day at 730am and buying up everything each day because they new when the Walmart employees were stocking the shelves. I am disgusted at this point of even driving up to my Walmarts to check anymore, especially knowing that the folks buying up all the ammo aren't even from my area for the most part according to the walmart employees. Just frustrated.

I went to the Walmart at Rt.360 and Rt.288 this morning about 10:30 , they had Tula .223 and 7.62x39 ...wasn't even on the shelf , they had it under the counter. Could only buy 3 bxs. a day of each. I also bought the only box of Tula 9mm they had . I also bought 2 bxs. .45 acp and 3 bxs. .40 s+w...(I don't even shoot either one) but will someday , I'm sure. No .22 of any kind and no .380 ...no .357 or .38.

Would that be the Wally World near Bell Creek? If so I go in there every day and they never have any .223 ammo. I got an email this morning saying they had Tul Ammo .223 the email came in at 4:35am, I called them immediately and was told they had none in stock.

Walmart at Rt.360 and Rt.288 west of Richmond. Most inventory I have seen in any Walmart in a month. Walmart at Wood Lake on Rt.360 West and the Mechanicsville Walmart ...Nothing at all !
