Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Hello VGOF Members! A venue has been rented, prizes have been shipped - now we just need VGOF members to show up and enjoy some Open Carry camaraderie, eat a hamburger and/or a hot dog, bring a side dish to share with others, win some prizes and have a good time!

Here are images of a few of the items that will be given away at the VGOF OC Picnic. Come out and take something home with you!

Please post to this thread if you plan to attend, along with the number of people you plan to bring with you so that I know how much meat to buy.

Also, please leave any questions or comments regarding the OC Picnic here.

Please keep the following rule in mind. There will be NO HANDLING OF FIREARMS at the picnic. Just as you would not handle your firearm in Wal-mart or at the gas station. All firearms are to remain holstered at all times.

Was there mention of a range near by and some target shooting afterwards? Is that happening?

I'll be there with a guest from the VB.

Should we start an informal checklist of what we need and who's bringing what?. Due to my long drive, I'll probably hit the closest grocery store on the way in.

Come on Speedy - you can't find someone to cover the Saturday and you cover Sunday?

My wife Chrissy and I will attend. I need to get a holster for her Walther P-22 so we can both carry. I wonder if there is an on line store that would have such a thing??? LOL.

Please let me know if we can bring anything else. Sodas, condiments, desserts, or something else. I'll be glad to assist in any way possible.

I look forward to seeing you there Andy. I do carry a couple of P22 holsters, but they're both out of stock right now.

They're both made by Fobus Holsters - models WP22BH (Kydex belt holster) and WP22 (Kydex paddle holster), if you care to search on them elsewhere.

Naw, they are all going to the picnic! Someone has to do the grunt work and that falls to us dedicated grunts.

I hope we'll have a few more roger up soon. The shelter that I rented will hold 50 people. I'd like to see 40 show up. Get the word out!

Maybe a mass e mailing to all board members to announce and help promote it? Might get some more responses..
