yeah as if the NRA is the one dictating who can and cannot join the club! just trying to paint them as another evil lobby organization. what if it was a basketball club instead of a gun club? and a bunch of yuppies moved into their neighborhood and started complaining about them ? i shoot at the NRA headquarters range all the time and other than determining how much to charge me for range fee they don't care if you're a member or not, just whether you follow their safety rules

That article has too much to comment on.. HOWEVER, the club paid for it's own upgrades but the NRA most likely advised them of what was needed for safety and noise concerns.. The people who built after the club was established can only blame themselves for not checking what was around their property before they built.. The few gun owners that left who don't agree with the NRA should go ahead and turn their firearms in to authorities.. The club should not require members to join the NRA.. The club members who believe the NRA has an extreme stance need to realize the NRA no longer considers them as their core..They are not vocal and do nothing to protect the privilege of hunting.... .. They need to realize that hunting is a privilege since they need a license.. I do not need a license to shoot and own firearms.. Its a right.. The club members who left need to realize their Remington 700 is a sniper rifle used by the military for decades.. They will be next..

You know what?
I find the rhetoric of the anti-gun crowd mimicking a cult of obedience. They refuse to listen to the FBI UCR facts about areas with MORE firearms having LESS crime. They refuse to accept that responses times for law enforcement has increased in certain areas to 10-30 minutes...
When seconds count, the police are minutes away.
As an individual, you're responsible for your own safety, security, and provisions. They need to stop being a drain on resources that could be used to assist those TRULY in need, and stop parroting facts they've yet to research on their own as truthful.
