It's not about birthers - it's much more than that. Dismissing all of it as "the birther train to nowhere" doesn't do any of us any good.

It is a compelling read. However, we know that no action will be taken. Acting on it now would require too many people who can't imagine ever being wrong to admit they made a mistake.

To me, it would be a far, far better thing just to close up shop and say 'Hey, we don't have the finances to swing this anymore - it was good while it lasted.' than to parcel off what you believe in for money. Just another sign of the times. Y'all know history repeats itself, right?

Rick I cannot dispute anything said in the posted article. But I have to ask what is going to be done. Even if by some miracle, the House impeaches Obama over any of the listed violations, the Senate trial will simply acquit him. If the republicans somehow manage to win a 2/3 majority in the Senate in 2014 (I am not even sure if this is mathematically possible) you still have to get rid of McConnell and Bohner to get the process started. Neither of them have the backbone to push it through. Unfortunately I am afraid the best we can hope for, is that our Country somehow stumbles and limps through to 2016.

I see a country divided, and in conflict, and it's that very reason that I hope that "states rights" comes back to the forefront. Don't like the rule of law? Move.

If it is all true, I think it matters very much. However I think in practicality it makes no difference on the outcome that we will see in the future.

But it is helpful to know what we are dealing with. If this is true, we are dealing with a usurper and a bastardization of our system of gov't, it means the legitimacy of whatever is done by this president and this administration is highly questionable and illegitimate. If we think we are dealing with someone within the system, then to oppose them one uses certain tactics. If he is outside of our system of gov't and is usurping it, then other tactics needs to be considered as well.
