Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

I'm looking at picking up some Federal XM127 00 Buckshot for hunting & SHTF. I've only fired Remington and RIO buckshot previously - I mostly fire birdshot and slugs.

Any experiences with it? How does it pattern at 25', 50', or 75'? I'm going to be using this in a Mossberg 500 and also a Remington 1100.

If you want to know how a particular shotgun patterns with a particular load, there just ain't nothing for it but to pattern the gun yourself. Get some big slabs of pasteboard and go shoot at them.
