I've *really* wanted to rent a couple of billboards for VGOF to put out a similar message. Every billboard I've ever called about costs $3000 or more per month to rent.Reverenddel wrote:I think we should chip in, and pay for those signs on all the primary, and secondary roads.

OUCH! That's dang near 10 times what they were go for down here in the hinterlands about 5 years ago. If you or somebody else has some land in a good location, I think you can still get a permit to erect your own billboard; particularly if it is in connection with a business. I've done some of that way back in the '80s. VDOT didn't like it (at least back then - at least out here) but the regs allowed it. At $3grand a month, you could BUY YOUR OWN for as month or two's rent if you know how to do stuff.
