Richmond Times Dispatch to Have Conversation About Guns

I hope the locals can attend. Anyone can watch on their website. Make sure you leave your firearms in your vehicle.After last month’s deadly shooting rampage in Newtown, Conn., the debate over gun control has reached a fever pitch.
It’s time for a civil conversation about what we need to do to make safety a priority.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch invites you to join us for that conversation about a variety of gun issues, from bans on assault rifles to arming school security guards.
Also, we’ll hear an in-depth report on a recent Quinnipiac University poll about Virginians’ attitudes about gun control.
The event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required.
