Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Not that it should surprise anybody. But they are sending e-mails out to anybody they think is a loyal democrat to raise money for the PR battle on gun control. But to their own faithful, they don't bother to talk about "the children". They make no bones about the fact that their goal is GUN CONTROL. Here is the text of one such e-mail:

demo — The NRA isn’t going to like this: Since they promised “the fight of the century” against President Obama, we’ve seen a gigantic response! 200,000 supporters have already denounced them.

This is amazing: If we get to 500,000 grassroots supporters, we’ll set a new record for petition signatures and show the NRA we’re ready for the fight! Stand up to the NRA immediately. If we don’t, they’ll destroy our momentum and obstruct gun control for decades to come. –Jason

Well they can send out all the emails they want, but this gun-grab is over. Harry Reid knows he doesn't have the votes in the Senate and they for damn sure can't pass gun control in the House.

I am just hoping that all the excitement settles down and the gun shops start getting in some ammo and guns AND back to normal prices. I got guns to buy and for sure I am not going to pay some temporary inflated price. I'll probably have to wait 6 months or more though before the publice realizes that Obama is SOL.

Not only is it clearly about control, but it's also about a childish "let's tick off the NRA". Given mention on gun control is lost in the middle, and preceded by the subject line "The NRA isn't going to like this". The only folks this'll really reach are those that are already against the NRA. They're acting like children.... again. I guess that's another reason they surround themselves and parade them around either alive or dead.

Keep in mind, they ASSUME that "all democrats" are ANTI-GUN!

I have some "blue-dawgs" that are Rabidly PRO-GUN! That's right! Keep pissing off part of your base!

Well, it's beginning to make sense now. An administration wants to legalize ILLEGAL immigrants, and criminalize legal gun ownership.
