Howdy From Lake Anna!

Hey Folks!
My name is Pat, and I live on the Spotsy side of Lake Anna. I endure a hideous commute to Fairfax, but it pays the bills. I escaped from NY in 2003 and haven't looked back since.
It took me four years of living in VA before I realized I could get my CHP. What did you expect of me after decades of living in the land of Bloomberg and Chuckie Cheese Schumer?
I'm a 1911 fan and own 3 Kimbers, as well as some assorted long arms. I hope to meet some of you at upcoming VCDL meetings and gatherings!
Here's the babies. Kimber Stainless Pro Raptor II, Pro Aegis II, and Custom II
Here's my casual carry rig. Just some Galco stuff, I can't afford the pretty custom sharkskin trimmed stuff just yet...

Hey Pat welcome aboard! If the weather holds out (Hurricane Bill), I'll be at Lake Anna this weekend!

Pat. Nice spread. I've got a Custom II and love it, but I carry a Colt Commander. I'm also a .45 fan.

I make a similar commute so don't feel alone, from 8 miles west of the town of Orange to Ft. Belvoir.

If you made it out to the lake yesterday, I bet you sure got wet! My homebrewing club had our annual summer party yesterday in the rain. Good thing we had shelter, it was really coming down. My team won our club's annual brewing contest!
I've been brewing fourteen years. After the day is done, and the irons are put up for the evening. I enjoy a cold one that I made myself.

yep - no lake yesterday lol. That was quite a storm that rumbled through here. I'm glad I was in the house for it
