Just thought I'd share this with everyone. I bought my first firearm back in October and was hoping to purchase a long gun/semi auto AK later this year, but it may not happen.

Ron Paul hit it right on the head, if this happens there will be a 2nd American Revolution, maybe even a civil war. Lets all hope it doesn't come down to that.

An EO sets policy; it is not law. Granted, he can probably create a whole lot of mischief with EO's. But I think you're right in it being a very devisive topic, polarizing even.

I'd love to see Obama try it, and have it mean anything. Last I checked, we were a representative democracy. If he thinks he's a dictator that can make decrees that his unwashed subjects must obey, he's in for a rude awakening.

That video doesn't make me feel much better, especially after the Obamacare ruling. If it happens my handgun is disappearing and will be reported as stolen.

On another note, Wal-Mart is sold completely out of 9mm Luger target ammo. The only other place that sells in my town is Dicks Sporting Goods. If they're sold out I'll have to drive 30 miles to bass pro if they have any ammo.

Obama seems to think he's more powerful than the other 2 branches of government. That video shows that Obama can't issue decrees that violate the 2nd Amendment, and whether he likes it or not, the Supreme Court has the final say regarding what will be the law of the land.

Threatening to issue EO's is just saber-rattling. And mostly hot air.

Also, an Executive Order is only enforceable on government employees. At least, that is what I'm told. Which is a moot point, since any unconstitutional order is just that.
