Yeah, but if a federal AWB went into affect, wouldn't having that stuff still be a federal offense? The local police wouldn't do anything but the ATF would come in and haul you away? Just like they do for weed even if it's legal in the state?

Read the bill, if ATF tried to enforce it in Wyoming, they would be committing a felony in Wyoming.

Roger that. When I skimmed it I thought it applied to state and local officials. I wonder how difficult it would be to drag a federal agent back to Wyoming to stand trial for something like this. Don't the feds just have a way to rotate them around so that they don't have to face charges?

For the Fast and Furious stuff, didn't the feds get out of being "interviewed" by not answering their phone?

Passing the law, and then having it survive any court challenges would be a tall order. That said, it's nice to see some legislators have spines.

I would be looking for work out there too. Wonder if this could create an economic boom for Wyoming? Maybe we should mention that to the legislature out there in Wyoming

That's the real official State of Wyoming legislature site. That being said, doesn't mean this bill would ever actually pass as written. But, yeah, it's real.

We need more STATEMEN, and less POLITICIANS in this Commonwealth. Virginia started this country, we were in Jamestown before Plymouth. We were the front line for the Revolutionary War, and when Lincoln stepped in it over South Carolina, we joined the Civil War (too bad NY state DID NOT! They had contemplated at the same time as VA on leaving on the over reaching federalist powers).

You know my feelings on "Come-Heres", "Transplants" and "CarpetBaggers".

NoVa has an influx of them because of the Federal Gov. Once you get out of NoVa, and Tidewater, you generally find the same folks who've been around for years. The problem isn't NoVa leaving the Commonwealth, it's getting the TRANSPLANTS, AND CARPETBAGGERS to leave!

Come-here's? Love you guys, like you were my own. You just settle into the Culture, and take to it like a duckling to water. Please, invite more of your kind.
