John C Dvorak: "Repeal the 2nd Amendment"

Post by Mindflayer »

No, not the way it sounds (short titles). I listen to the No Agenda podcast (highly suggest it), and in the last episode, he went on one of his rants. He thinks the "anti-gun movement" is just a few loud mouthed people. He says instead of passing a bunch of hodge podge laws, if the antis really want to drive it home, pass a new amendment to repeal gun ownership. We've done it before with alcohol (that went well), and if the People want it, they can do that same again. If not, just shut up.

I think it's a good point. That may be my closer from now on - if you don't like gun ownership, repeal the 2nd Amendment. While you're at it, repeal the other 9 as well, and... Willkommen in den Vereinigten Faschistischen Staaten von Amerika. Wo sind Ihre Ausweispapiere, Sklave?

(Yes, I am aware that the 2nd Amendment just guarantees an already Nature-given right.)

If they want to do that they should go ahead and try it. But no, they dnt even have the boats for a simple majority much less the heavy lifting that it would take to get that through both houses of congress and the states.

So now they are punting to EO, which is on such dubious grounds it is ridiculous.

What I would like to say to then is "hello, calling all dingbats, all those people so went out and bought guns did not do so just to turn them in a few months later.....don't be fool enough to start something you can't finish."

Exactly Mama.

As I have stated. You turn 60+MILLION people into OUTLAWS that have no motivation to now obey ANY of your laws... You're SCREWED!

It's like picking a fight with a MMA heavyweight, you better have your sh'ttogether, or you're gonna be taught a painful lesson in manners, and such.
