and no one is talking about it.

Looks pretty much like the LC9 except just a tad smaller. I like the idea of having more weight because my LCP jumps a lot, but frankly if I'm going to move up in pistol size I think it makes sense just to go with 9mm. Especially as this appears as if it would not fit in my pocket anyway.

You're right, looks like they chambered the LC9 in .380acp. Not sure why. Granted you would have less felt recoil but dang, shoot a wimpy 9mm load

Talking to the LGS dude today, he said women seem to love it. Better feel over the LCP not as much recoil as the 9 and it has the external safety.

Gotlabs, You are a Genius, I could'nt for the life of me figure out why Ruger came out with an LC9 in .380 caliber, It is identical in size to the LC9, So why wouldn't you just go with the 9mm? -- Makes sense that Women would be buying it.

I think years down the road though, It will become one of those 'Rare' Rugers, I just don't see them selling a lot of them imo.

My main issue with the LC9 for a new shooter is not the recoil but the very difficult trigger pull.

Jake,

I agree, An LC9 was my EDC, I just upgraded to an XDs - But you are right, in fact I'd go on to say it's the worst trigger out there, It is even worse than the gun they copied it from, The Kel-Tec PF9 - But with that said, I guess you can get use to anything and a few times out at the range makes it seem not so bad, although it is, I know they make after market trigger kits, But Ruger should have got it right to begin with.

I really dont think that heavy trigger was an accident. I think they made a deliberate choice to do it.
