Woman hiding with kids shoots intruder

LOGANVILLE, Ga. —
A woman hiding in her attic with children shot an intruder multiple times before fleeing to safety Friday.
The incident happened at a home on Henderson Ridge Lane in Loganville around 1 p.m. The woman was working in an upstairs office when she spotted a strange man outside a window, according to Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman. He said she took her 9-year-old twins to a crawlspace before the man broke in using a crowbar.
But the man eventually found the family.

But what you can do is to post articles like this in all comments sections in every gun control article you read. Inundate the internet with positive facts. It may not immediately awaken the brainwashed (I was like them years ago), but it will plant a seed in their minds.

Very brave woman...She did exactly what she had to do. Now that she has mastered a 5 shot revolver , maybe she should think ....Maybe Glock 17 or Ruger 1911. What was that SOB doing on the street anyhow ?

Haha... Shot in the face and expected to survive. Adding injury to insult, literally.
Oh man how I LOVE irony hahaha.
Secondly, good on the mom for protecting herself and the kids. Good on he husband too for having her back in this situation. Obviously a great American family. God bless them.

That's some great reporting. First part says he was shot in the face and neck, last part says his liver, stomach, and lungs were all punctured....
And while the original article said he was expected to survive, this one says he's on a ventilator and *if* he survives the night, they'll attempt to operate to repair the damage.
Arrested seven times since 2008, too.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
