I always try to work the VCDL table on Fridays for this show. If you attend, stop by and say hello. And, if you're not a VCDL member, bring $25 with you!

might have to take a stroll through this one, knowing that I probably won't be buying any overpriced ammo or firearms.

FWIW, at the last show, all the normally priced ammo sold out in the first 15 minutes. I'm not kidding. One guy sold his entire weekend's worth of stuff within 10 minutes of the doors opening.

I am wondering if there is any reason to attend? I thought about it, but it is an hour each way and $30 in gas, plus an entry fee? Then I can look at the slim pickin's of overpriced items. If anyone knows I will find a great selection of .357 revolvers reasonably priced, I will be there when the doors open.

I've purchased a couple guns at that show (LC9 and Mark III 22/45) and gobs of ammo and accessories. But that was before all the current frenzy. The last two shows have been very frustrating WRT prices and selection.

This time around, the show is starting two hours early on FRI (1300). I bet that anything affordable or popular will be gone before 1500. If I were you, I'd save the gas and entrance money and put that toward your .357.

If you want, PM me with exactly what you're looking for and your acceptable price. I can look around while I'm taking a break and let you know FRI evening if I see anything worth following up on. It'll be like shopping for myself, without the accompanying threat of violence from my wife. :death:

I'll be in the area this weekend but not sure we have time to go. Even if we don't buy anything at all, I like to just walk around and browse.

Well, I went on Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to find parking in front of Walmart. Back in February I had to circle around the area for around 20 minutes just to find a spot.

There was no line to get in.

Plenty of ARs & other EBRs.

Lots of AR magazines, some as low as $20 each.

Overall, still very pricey but a very striking reduction in attendence. At least from what I saw.

Attendance seemed thin on FRI, too, even though it opened two hours earlier. I think people figured there'd be slim pickings. But, if I'd had the funds, I would have snapped up a rifle and a shotgun.
