It's happened again. please excuse me if this is already known, or moderator, just remove it. Some building set on fire in NY and when the fire fighters showed up someone opened fire on them killing two, and putting two in the hospital last I heard. It happened about six this morning. WTF.

Any number of scenarios come to mind, all illegal. Delaying suppression in an attempt to allow further destruction of evidence comes to mind, but I wouldn't rule out other possibilities.

Sounds like an organized crime thing.

Have you noticed every shooting in the USA is being reported as headline news in the last year? Why don't we do the same for vehicular deaths?

All of the CT funerals are over. Both sides of the gun control debate have been on the Sunday talk shows. For the first time in over a week I was able to check the headlines and not see an article about CT or gun control. The anti-gun movement is waning and with a few weeks before Congress comes back they need every little story possible to keep goosing it along.

The apparent gunman was found dead at the scene, but it’s unclear if he was killed by a self-inflicted gunshot or if it was from a weapon from police officers who were chasing him.

Very weird. Wonder if someone had a personal issue with one or more of the firemen.
