I was curious why the media was making no mention of the CT shooters dad and focusing exclusively on his mom...and found this. Did a little cross-referencing and its true.

BREAKING NEWS: CT School Shooter Killer Link To LIBOR SCANDAL?
The father of Newtown Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza is Peter Lanza who is a VP and Tax Director at GE Financial. The father of Aurora Colorado movie theater shooter James Holmes is Robert Holmes, the lead scientist for the credit score company FICO. Both men were to testify before the US Sentate in the ongoing LIBOR scandal. The London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, is the average interest rate at which banks can borrow from each other. 16 international banks have been implicated in this ongoing scandal, accused of rigging contracts worth trillions of dollars. HSBC has already been fined $1.9 billion and three of their low level traders arrested.

Former media employee here. I have yet to see any credible evidence that Peter Lanza was scheduled to testify on LIBOR. Every source promoting that information has some credibility issues (i.e. no documented sources). I'm not saying it's not true but from what I've read, it's unlikely given his current role at GE.
He is employed by GE as the current Tax Director and Vice President of the Taxes at GE Energy Financial Services group and works "closely with many of the preeminent partnership tax advisors in the United States on a daily basis." It's not likely he'd have any role to play in with the ongoing LIBOR investigation.
That said, something smells bad.

I did some digging. It looks like the original source of the information is none other than Sorcha Faal...and therefore full of crap. I won't link to the site. You're welcome to find it on your own.

Any time you see an "article" that changes fonts 5 times in a row, you can rest assured it is bunk.
