What the F### America?! I condone shootings as is, but to harm ELEMENTARY school kids?! I hope they find this low-life, and I aint talk LEO's finding him, and cut his worthless pairs off with a pruning shear.
I hate holidays for this exact reason man. Hate them. Too many nuts jobs who can't get over daddy not saying 'I love you' going out and ruining peoples lives and tormenting them for no reason. Save grace and just shoot yourself or jump off a bridge... Something other than taking another persons life. Much less an innocent kid.
Just another bit of ammo for gun-control advocates now...

not the guns are the problem; the crazy people are. When they don't find a gun, they will use a knife or a car or whatever:

I'm sure you mean condemn, not condone.
Horrible event. I surely hope the guns were illegal and the guy was a known nut.

Thanks tursiops - that is he word I was wanting. Definitely NOT condone shootings. -_-
@Kelu - I know, but it's still super upsetting that this weapon is what causes pretty much all the deaths lately. WE all know that they'll find something else to use too, but does the general puic?
We know how these mass shootings go too. It's gone for 4-5 months, some nut job gets the idea to kill 10 people and himself, then the next guy tries to out-do his "score." It goes on for like 2-3 weeks and they all call it quits. But the fact it stays in he news constantly is a drag and in this event that it was kids is even more mind-blowing to me. This dude or dudes had a sick twisted mind and background to have done something like this.

Once again the gun-free zone proves to be one of the most dangerous places on earth.
Can't you just hear the stampede of gun grabbers running towards the first TV camera they can find? The life expectancy of our Second Amendment rights is inching ever closer to extinction.

No doubt that the loonies are going to use this as an excuse to extinguish freedom.

It may be interesting to see who has influenced these psychopaths. The red hair one (I forgot his name) said at one point that it was his psychiatrist.
MK Ultra...

My heart goes out to the parents of the children. This is terrible terrible terrible. Those poor children.
It hurts my heart.
Shame on the media for being such voltures. You can tell that they are just salivating at this, its news and will give them ratings.

There are no words for this. Expect something of this magnitude to create change.
I fear it's not going to stop. This madman was tweeting about the end of the world prophecy.

This is awful, for the families and for all Americans who care about the health of our culture.
The real question is not about the weapons. It is, what has happened to our culture and our society that such monstrous criminals are created?
Is it the media sensationalism unencumbered by any sense of decency that makes celebrities out of dirtbags?
Is it the entitlement mentality fostered by the federal government, that makes people so deeply resentful when they aren't given everything they want?
Is it the depersonalization and artificiality, and the glorification of violence of videogames and electronic media?
Is it the isolation of individuals caused by the cutting off of local, community life that causes many to view life as a sentence under solitary confinement, trudging from work to the TV to bed every day?
I think the answer is in these directions. And we must note that the school, being a "gun-free zone", had an open invitation to violent crime on its front door. If the adults in the school had been armed, this would have been much less of a catastrophe, and might not have happened at all.
Over 100 million law-abiding firearm owners did not shoot anyone today.

Exactly, these nut cases acting out is the problem,,not the guns, We are about to get bombarded by the anti gun folks as they will attempt to ban everything in their further haste to destroy this country,, Prayers to the families and rot in hell to the gunman!

The question I had in my mind as I read the horrible news online: Why is there not an armed presence at a school? Every single school I've attended in my life has had a police officer either immediately nearby (police station across the street from my elementary school), or in the building with the sole purpose of being on-call. I feel that schools SHOULD be gun-free zones for civilians, but having a trained, police department employed Student Resource Officer on-site could have deterred this shooting, or stopped this shooter sooner.

I managed to get banned from one forum. They were blaming gun owners and the NRA. When I defended my rights they called me every name in the book and one stated that I should be the target of the next killer. Then I was banned. Liberals are truly brain dead.

As far as the school, they hinted that there was unarmed security at the school. This guy killed his mother, girlfriend and another friend before going to the school.
