Dormin, yest that is a 1911. It is a Ruger SR1911 that I did a little bit of customization to. I just wanted it to be a little different from the others.

It also looks like a Marlin 795 is in the mix. Those are some nice ootb shooters. What scope and mounts are you using?

AHHH...yes, that one. That is a Kimber BP TEN II. It's a Polymer framed 1911 that holds 14 rounds of .45 ACP. They stopped making this model and let's just say that I'm happy I have it

I'm glad someone noticed the Marlin. This is one of my most accurate shooters. The Marlin 795 does not get enough credit. I got this thing for $100 and it beats out my brother's 10/22 hands down (sorry 10/22 fans).
The scope is a cheap Simmons 3X9 scope but it has worked flawlessly for the past 4 years. I am never one to buy cheap stuff, but this is one combination I would recommend to anyone.

The Marlin is often overlooked, unfortuntely. They really are good. The magzine well can be a little rough/tight, relese spring tough, sights a little smll (fixed with tech sites), and trigger group might be undesirable (fixed with a drop in trigger group). With the two additions, a little sanding for the mag well, you're now just entering the 10/22 cost category. Another criticism is the flexibility and light weight of the stock. This can be fixed with a little metal and epoxy in the stock (or so I understand). The 795 just eeks out the Mossberg 151k and 10/22. All three are fun, good, precise, and reliable, but due to cost... it's the Marlin by a hair.

I couldn't agree more. However, I do like how light the stock is. It makes it easy for my 7 year old to shoot it.
