Talking to fellow conservatives (Both Republican, Libertarian, and Independents), we have decided to do a different kind of movement.

The "NOPE" Movement.

What's that pray tell? You liberals voted for guv'mint "daddy", okay, GO TO THE GUV'MINT FOR EVERY ENDEAVOR!

If you know someone votes Liberal, do NOTHING to help them. NOTHING! From giving headache medication to changing a tire, to giving them a place in line. If they want to "give" us all these WONDERFUL things, OKAY! Since you want to "take" from me by force? I'll give you NOTHING by CHOICE!

Pound Sand, God Bless Your lil' Liberal Hearts!

Funny you should say that, Rev. This morning I got a call from a local preacher raising money for a mission to help the hurricane victims in NY & NJ. I told him they voted for Obama, so they could damn well wait on Obama to help them.

This is Atlas Shrugged on a "Think Globally, Act Locally" scale. I like it.

Hmm...not sure how you tell on sight if someone's a Liberal or not. And if you really do this, then "they" (however you determine "Liberal") will see this and treat you likewise. Way to follow that good ol' Golden Rule that Christ talks about.

Rev, I know you're better than this. All of you are. Come on.

This country has become more divided in the past four years than I ever imagined could be possible. A secluded cabin in the Appalachian mountains is starting to sound better everyday.

OK, you're determined to do this. Now, how do you tell on sight if that person on the side of the road is a Liberal, and thus unworthy of those things you've listed? And how do you tell if that same person is a Conservative and thus worthy of them?

Seriously, I'm curious how this would work. :-)

I would think a brief questionnaire or flow chart would be required.

You two have no idea that identifying is fairly easy.

They're the ones TAKING, and NOT GIVING, UNLESS it makes them FEEEEEELLLLL good, or prospers their position! Look around, and you'll see the CONSERVATIVES are NOT asking FOR ANYTHING! They just want to be LEFT ALONE to make things, and create things, and prosper.

But then again, you wouldn't recognize that, you simply see a resource to be drained like a socialistic VAMPIRE who wants the "MAKERS" to pay for all the "TAKERS"

GEE! Funny how the two biggest "Gimmees" on this site want to be sanctimonious about a MOVEMENT that would DIRECTLY affect them!

You want sympathy? You'll find that in my world between "SH'T'", and "SUCKER" in the dictionary. I expect no quarter from LIBERAL SOCIALIST SCUMBAGS, and therefore I will NOT give any!

Sorry you feel that way, Rev. I know you're ticked right now, but since you are both a Christian and a Reverend, consider this.

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."
-- Luke 6:37

"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
-- Colossians 3:13

Not my words; no human was ever that smart, certainly not me. But good ones to remember right about now. Just a thought.

I hate the terms Conservative and Liberal since they have come to mean NOTHING.

Reverend, sounds like a better term is "Lazy Sack of Crap". :)

Side note, for the love of all that is holy, let's stop using Ayn Rand's Objectivism as some sort of guidelines.

Just ask if 65 million murdered innocents and the genocide of 50% of the black race bothers them.......

If they say it's justified by the "right to choose" don't lend them that cup of sugar....leave them to prosper with the free government cheese.

Make them wear litle yellow stars; just tell them they're to raise awareness for some idiot liberal cause like sweatshops enslaving transgendered underaged mosquitos and not letting them gay marry the furniture.

They'll snap them up like crazy.

I think you got it backwards. They have a big heart. And a little brain. They operate on instinct and what they see the rest of the herd doing. Many are incapable of much in the way of independent thought/action.

They operate on the fear of riteous judgement.....

Nothing else.

What's wrong with Rand's Objectivism? It seems to be the only rational, logically consistent theory. Most people who criticise it have never read it, only left-wing distortions of it.

The dumbing down of America has declared it hard to read and hard = bad.
