Got seated outside Saturday to watch the "ZombieWalk", my friends showed up, one was carrying as well.

The waiter suggested beers, we declined, he kept pressing, finally said "I'm packing". I had an OWB covered by a shirt, same for my friend. He said "Packing what?" I replied "I'm legally carrying a firearm."

He asked "Should I be worried?" We smiled, and said "Only if you need to be, otherwise? We're fine." He laughed, and the meal went on, with no other comments.

Haha good for you for no consuming while carrying and good for the waiter for recognizing a responsible citizen.

I carried just about everywhere I went this Week-end. Sometimes concealed, sometimes open. Didn't have any problems at all.
