Made a good find this week...which never happens to me.

I have always wanted a Charter Arms bulldog 44 special. Trouble is the quality isnt there anymore so I never bought one. So I stopped by my favorite dealer this week and there in the case was what looked to be a new Bulldog but was obviously an older one. 3inch blued barrel. I was surprised how nice the bluing was and how good the trigger felt. Very light and smooth trigger. So I bought it cheap. Called Charter and discovered it was made in 1968. I never ever seem to make a good find on a firearm so I am still excited about it. This revolver obviously spent its life in a drawer somewhere as it is like a new one.

Their early stuff was very good. But hard to find nowdays. Got lucky.
