Great article on an escalating scenario and how America's gun owners and veterans eventually react to protect neighborhoods.

I wanted to reply because:

1) this deserved a few replies and maybe a few more reads. I'm a piss poor prepper (underneath my assholeish exterior beats the heart of the optimist) but these are the most likely scenarios I've read in awhile.

2) The author gets down to the real outcome of a collapse. A race war. The scenario of the traffic intersections is ripped right from The Turner Diaries but its still highly plausible, more so today actually.

3) I disagree on the "police response" section. There will not be one. At all. You're on your own.

Its un-PC to discuss these things aloud though, despite them being of utmost importance.

Kreutz, and I have moments where we COMPLETELY agree, and this is one of them.

Kreutz, come to the dark side, and prep. We have freeeezzzeee dried ICE CREAM! Very Yummy !

In serious though, this election, no matter WHO wins, we're gonna have a tense couple of weeks, and it may be the fuse that sets off the default.

Got a few weeks until one of the worries I have that this could start....the election......millions of people having been told for decades that they were down trodden and kept back may suddenly lash out if the candidate of their choice is not elected.

Scary stuff...indeed....
